Isabella's work centers around the lgbtq+ community, feminism, history, religion, and mythology. She writes plays, short stories, and novels.

Isabella is American and grew up in Holland, Michigan before moving to Chicago for nine years where she went to college and started her career.

Isabella attends Goldsmiths, University of London for Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance. She previously attended Loyola University Chicago and studied Theatre and Advertising/Public Relations. She gets very good grades.
Isabella has written several plays, acted, and directed. She also worked at Steppenwolf Theatre for over three years in marketing. She has been most proud of her work on Virtue and Grace which she wrote and directed. The play had a workshop in the Steppenwolf Merle Reskin Garage Theatre, readings at The Understudy Coffee and Books and at The Queerly Festival in NYC, and a staged reading in Steppenwolf’s 1700 Theatre. Other plays include The Sometimes Inaccurate (but Mostly Accurate) Herstory of the World, an adaptation of Carmilla, and The Janes.
Isabella's special skills include wine consulting, gymnastics, roller skating, singing soprano, playing the flute, dialect work, makeup, props construction, and making everything about the girls and the gays.
